Falsifying the Text

Larry Brigden on Rome’s current support for the Critical Text and the United Bible Societies:

“Whenever in the past Rome could not ‘altogether prevent the Holy Scriptures from being translated and circulated, she has made no scruple of falsifying the text’.[2]  Hence, the use of the corrupt Critical Text by the United Bible Societies is consistent with Rome’s purposes, and she will consequently lend support to such a work.  On the other hand, if the Received Text were to be used, Rome would doubtless take a different view.”

Bridgen backs up this latter statement with the fact that Rome has never published any Bible translated from the Masoretic and Received texts.

On The Recent Orgy In The Vatican

Shaun Willcock:

The Leaked Story of a Sodomite Orgy in the Vatican

Drugs and Sodomy in the Vatican

According to an article which first appeared on 28 June in the Italian newspaper, Il Fatto Quotidiano, Vatican police, alerted to strange shenanigans going on in the flat of a monsignor, a man who was the secretary of a senior Roman Catholic cardinal, raided the flat and broke up a drug-fuelled homosexual party.[1]  The flat, which is in the Vatican itself, is not far from the Santa Marta residence of the pope of Rome, Francis I.  It is in the Palazzo del Sant’Uffizio, which belongs to the Vatican’s “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith” – which used to be known as the Inquisition.  Be it noted, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is the very institution in charge of supposedly dealing with priestly sex abuse cases!

Neighbours living in the building had complained of the “constant coming and going” of young men, and of noisy parties being held in the flat.[2]

The Italian article said that the secretary was also entrusted with a luxury car with Vatican number plates, which enabled him to transport the drugs into the Vatican without being troubled by Vatican or Italian police.

The Vatican reacted – apparently by hustling the offender off into a “retreat”!  The monsignor was taken for detox at a medical facility, and was later said to be “in retreat” in a monastery somewhere in Italy.[3]  This is usual Vatican practice when one of their own is bust in some scandal of a sexual nature – he is hustled off to some secret location.

Then on 30 June, in a piece published on a French website, the monsignor-secretary was named: he was Luigi Capozzi.  And so it came out that Capozzi’s boss is the Romish cardinal, Francesco Coccopalmerio.  He is head of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, which makes him “like the Church’s Chief Justice, the chief interpreter of the Church’s laws.”[4]  A very influential man in the Vatican indeed.  And surely he was not unaware of his secretary’s behaviour.  As one high prelate commented: “Is it possible that he [Coccopalmerio) never noticed anything?  Yet he often said that they [Coccopalmerio and Capozzi] worked together until late.”[5]  Certainly, considering how the monsignor was enjoying such benefits “above his pay grade” so to speak, it indicates that he was being protected by some very powerful authority figures within the Vatican itself.

But Is the Story True?

In the original article in the Italian newspaper, Il Fatto Quotidiano, “no named source whatsoever” was provided.[6]  No named sources to confirm the story; an unnamed secretary, who allegedly worked for an unnamed cardinal; no date given for the party; nothing about who actually sent the Vatican police to investigate and break up the party; no photographs of anything; no inventory of the drugs found at the party.  To many, all these things indicate that the entire story was a fabrication.  And yet it spread around the world like wildfire, being picked up by other media outlets.

However, there was a party, and it was broken up by the Vatican police.  According to Robert Moynihan, author of The Moynihan Letters, highly respected in Roman Catholic circles as he is the editor of the influential magazine, Inside the Vatican: “I have now managed to confirm that some sort of a party did in fact take place, and that the Vatican police did come to investigate the party, entering a Vatican apartment where the party was being held, and breaking up the party.  So, there seems a legitimate basis for an attempt to trace out at least part of the genesis and development of this story, though there still seems no reliable basis for any detailed presentation of the facts.”[7]

We beg to differ with his last statement.  Consider the facts:

Another Mass Grave of Babies Who Died Under the “Tender” Care of Nuns

Shaun Willcock, Bible Based Ministries:

It is like something out of the Dark Ages.  But it is unfolding right now in Ireland.

Whenever Protestants spoke or wrote in the past about how babies were discarded by nuns into unmarked graves, Rome always dismissed such allegations as nothing but Protestant “Rome-bashing”.  But even today, evidence is surfacing that it really did happen – and not a few times, but multiplied hundreds of times.

In 2009, I wrote an article entitled A Mass Grave of Babies and the Lie of “Limbo”,[1] in which I gave the details of a mass grave, in an unmarked site, of thousands of unwanted babies found at Milltown Cemetery, which is in predominantly Roman Catholic west Belfast, Northern Ireland.  The babies buried there were children of Roman Catholics who died in infancy, before they could receive the Roman Catholic rite of “baptism”, between the 1940s and 1970s.

Now, in the last few years, a second mass grave has come to light, this time in Tuam, County Galway, in the Republic of Ireland.  And it is estimated that this forgotten grave contains the remains of a staggering almost 800 babies!

The site is located at what was a home for unmarried mothers from the 1920s until the 1960s.  During this forty-year period, infant mortality was very high.  It is believed that many of the children died from malnutrition and infectious diseases.  But here’s the shocker: the home was run by the Bon Secours Roman Catholic order of nuns!

Yes, nuns – those women who fool Papists and gullible Protestants alike with their mask of “sanctity” and “other-worldliness”.  Those women who are considered, by millions, to be holy and godly, serving God.  Those women who for centuries have been engaged in such works as nursing the sick and educating children.  Surprise! – it turns out they are sinners like everyone else, and moreover, often even more heartless and cruel than others (this of course comes as no surprise to Christians who understand the horrible nature of Roman Catholicism and the kind of monsters it so often breeds behind the walls of convents and monasteries, but it comes as a huge surprise to the people of the world, so used to viewing nuns as “holy” women of God).  Yes, of course there are nuns who are kind-hearted, caring, merciful and sweet (even though they are not true Christians); but this does not negate the fact that multitudes of them have been blind servants of the priests, hard and cruel women who have made life in convents a living death for so many poor girls trapped therein.

People who had once been residents at this nun-run home said they were treated very harshly.  “Some of the children from the home would attend the local school,” said Catherine Corless, a local historian and genealogist, who was researching the home.  “They were treated differently, went home earlier, and were all shipped off to an industrial school when they were around seven years old.”[2]

How was the discovery made?

Under Pain of Being Damned

Lateran-council-5

We find in another part of the decrees of the council of Lateran, held under Pope Innocent III., the following denunciation:—”All magistrates who interpose against priests in any criminal case, whether it be for murder or high treason, let him be excommunicated.” Bear that in mind, American Protestants! If a priest murder one of you, if he commit high treason against your government, your magistrates dare not interfere, under pain of being damned. So says the infallible Roman church; and so will she act, should she ever acquire the power of doing so, in this country.

A Shortage of Actual Care

Pulpit and Pen quoting the Université de Montréal on Mother Teresa‘s work:

Madre Teresa de Calcutá (7565445144)“At the time of her death, Mother Teresa had opened 517 missions welcoming the poor and sick in more than 100 countries. The missions have been described as “homes for the dying” by doctors visiting several of these establishments in Calcutta. Two-thirds of the people coming to these missions hoped to a find a doctor to treat them, while the other third lay dying without receiving appropriate care. The doctors observed a significant lack of hygiene, even unfit conditions, as well as a shortage of actual care, inadequate food, and no painkillers. The problem is not a lack of money–the Foundation created by Mother Teresa has raised hundreds of millions of dollars.”  (Source)

Unable to Walk up the Holy Steps

The Percy family. The Baltic to Vesuvius (1868) (14565893790)“As I saw her sitting there on her wheelchair sobbing…both our hearts were breaking.

Hers because she was unable to walk up the Holy Steps to have her sins forgiven. She so desperately wanted to be able to spend less time in purgatory and she couldn’t bear the thought of being so close to the steps where Jesus had walked and unable to go up them like everybody else…”

He Who Argues With Catholic Priests

DebateBetweenCatholicsAndOrientalChristiansInThe13thCenturyAcre1290

“He who argues with Catholic priests must have had his education with them; he must be of them and from among them. He must know, from experience, that they will stop at no falsehood where the good of the church is concerned; he must know that they will scruple at no forgery when they desire to establish any point of doctrine, fundamental or not fundamental, which is taught by their church; he must be aware that it is a standing rule with Popish priests, in all their controversies with Protestants, to admit nothing and deny every thing, and that, if still driven into difficulty, they will still have recourse to the archives of the church, where they keep piles of decretals, canons, rescripts, bulls, excommunications, interdicts, &c, ready for all such emergencies; some of them dated from three hundred to a thousand years before they were written or even thought of; showing more clearly, perhaps, than anything else, the extreme ignorance of mankind between the third and ninth centuries, when most of these forgeries were palmed upon the world.”

RCC’s Hypocrisy on Homosexuality

Flyingrainbowflag“I’m just pointing out that the Church speaks out of both sides of its mouth. The institution that calls homosexual activity intrinsically disordered…is the same one that ordains, promotes, and places closeted homosexuals in positions of power. That’s no secret to those of us who have dealt with the institution at every level, from the local parishes to the Vatican.”

Mother Teresa: Saint or Charlatan?

Sri-Chinmoy-and-Mother-TeresaVia Fishing for Men:

Article taken from Truthsource

Mother Teresa (known also as Mother Teresa of Calcutta) was born in what is now called Yugoslavia/Bosnia in 1910. Born to Albanian parents she was at that time known as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. The labor for which she became renowned began on January 6, 1929 when she arrived in Calcutta, India to work with the poor and needy. When she died in September of 1997 she was the director of a worldwide missions organization known as the “Missionaries of Charity.” There are currently over 500 missions in more than 100 countries around the world. She was the recipient of numerous awards including the most prestigious of all awards, the Nobel Peace Prize. She was revered around the world as an example of Christian love and charity and as someone who dedicated her life to the noble cause of advancing the gospel to the poor and needy of the world while caring for their physical needs. Her legacy will doubtless be as one of history’s great humanitarians.

Upon examination, though, the Mother Teresa portrayed by the media and popularized in our culture is glorified (soon to be beatified) and almost deified. A close examination of her beliefs and the work she did shows that her legacy may be little more than fiction.
