The Catholic Counter Reformation – Futurism

Up to this point, Rome’s main method of attack had been largely frontal: openly burning Bibles and heretics. Yet this warfare only confirmed in the minds of Protestants the conviction that papal Rome was indeed the Beast power that would “make war with the saints” (Revelation 13:7). Therefore a new tactic was needed, something less obvious. The sought after solution was found in the Jesuit Order…

“It Belongs to the Pope to Judge Authoritatively”

Papst Leo XIII 1898

Pope Leo XIII:

“But the supreme teacher in the Church is the Roman Pontiff. Union of minds, therefore, requires, together with a perfect accord in the one faith, complete submission and obedience of will to the Church and to the Roman Pontiff, as to God Himself.  This obedience should, however, be perfect…(and) must consequently be accepted without wavering….

“Wherefore it belongs to the Pope to judge authoritatively what things the sacred oracles contain, as well as what doctrines are in harmony, and what in disagreement, with them; and also, for the same reason, to show forth what things are to be accepted as right, and what to be rejected as worthless; what it is necessary to do and what to avoid doing, in order to attain eternal salvation.”

John Owen on Isaiah 60:1-12

Ніжний ранковий світло

Iain Murray’s The Puritan Hope, p. 38:

that God in his appointed time will bring forth the kingdom of the Lord Christ unto more glory and power than in former days, I presume you are persuaded. Whatever will be more, these six things are clearly promised: —

1st. Fulness of peace unto the gospel and the professors thereof, Isaiah 11:6,7, ,54:13, .33:20,21;,Revelation 21:25.

2dly. Purity and beauty of ordinances and gospel worship, Revelation 11:2, 21:3. The tabernacle was wholly made by appointment, Malachi 3:3,4; Zechariah 14:16; Revelation 21:27; Zechariah 14:20; Isaiah 35:8.

3dly. Multitudes of converts, many persons, yea, nations, Isaiah 9:7, 8, 66:8, 49:18-22; Revelation 7:9.

4thly. The full casting out and rejecting of all will-worship, and their attendant abominations, Revelation 11:2.

5thly. Professed subjection of the nations throughout the whole world unto the Lord Christ, Daniel 2:44, 7:26,27; Isaiah 60:6-9; — the kingdoms become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ, [Revelation 11:15,] amongst whom his appearance shall be so glorious, that David himself shall be said to reign.

6thly. A most glorious and dreadful breaking of all that rise in opposition unto him, Isaiah 60:12, — never such desolations, Revelation 16:1719.

Is The Mass That Bad?

John Bradford:

First, the mass is a most subtle and pernicious enemy against Christ, and that double, namely, against his priesthood and against his sacrifice. His priesthood is an everlasting priesthood, and such an one as cannot go to another. But the mass utterly puts him out of place, as though he were dead for ever; and so God is forsworn which said Christ should be ‘a priest for ever,’ and Paul lieth which affirmeth Christ to live, and to be ‘on the right hand’ of the Father for us, that by him ‘we may come to the throne of grace to find mercy to help us in our need:’ for, if these be true as they be most true, the mass priests are to be put down: for, if they be ‘of the order of Aaron,’ then resume they that which Christ hath abolished; if they be ‘of the order of Melchisedec,’ then be they Christ’s. Other orders of priests I read none, save that which all Christians be, to offer up themselves to God and other spiritual sacrifices by Christ, and the order of ‘priests of Baal,’ whose successors indeed the massers be (from The Writings of John Bradford, volume 2, pp. 312-313).

On The Recent Orgy In The Vatican

Shaun Willcock:

The Leaked Story of a Sodomite Orgy in the Vatican

Drugs and Sodomy in the Vatican

According to an article which first appeared on 28 June in the Italian newspaper, Il Fatto Quotidiano, Vatican police, alerted to strange shenanigans going on in the flat of a monsignor, a man who was the secretary of a senior Roman Catholic cardinal, raided the flat and broke up a drug-fuelled homosexual party.[1]  The flat, which is in the Vatican itself, is not far from the Santa Marta residence of the pope of Rome, Francis I.  It is in the Palazzo del Sant’Uffizio, which belongs to the Vatican’s “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith” – which used to be known as the Inquisition.  Be it noted, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is the very institution in charge of supposedly dealing with priestly sex abuse cases!

Neighbours living in the building had complained of the “constant coming and going” of young men, and of noisy parties being held in the flat.[2]

The Italian article said that the secretary was also entrusted with a luxury car with Vatican number plates, which enabled him to transport the drugs into the Vatican without being troubled by Vatican or Italian police.

The Vatican reacted – apparently by hustling the offender off into a “retreat”!  The monsignor was taken for detox at a medical facility, and was later said to be “in retreat” in a monastery somewhere in Italy.[3]  This is usual Vatican practice when one of their own is bust in some scandal of a sexual nature – he is hustled off to some secret location.

Then on 30 June, in a piece published on a French website, the monsignor-secretary was named: he was Luigi Capozzi.  And so it came out that Capozzi’s boss is the Romish cardinal, Francesco Coccopalmerio.  He is head of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, which makes him “like the Church’s Chief Justice, the chief interpreter of the Church’s laws.”[4]  A very influential man in the Vatican indeed.  And surely he was not unaware of his secretary’s behaviour.  As one high prelate commented: “Is it possible that he [Coccopalmerio) never noticed anything?  Yet he often said that they [Coccopalmerio and Capozzi] worked together until late.”[5]  Certainly, considering how the monsignor was enjoying such benefits “above his pay grade” so to speak, it indicates that he was being protected by some very powerful authority figures within the Vatican itself.

But Is the Story True?

In the original article in the Italian newspaper, Il Fatto Quotidiano, “no named source whatsoever” was provided.[6]  No named sources to confirm the story; an unnamed secretary, who allegedly worked for an unnamed cardinal; no date given for the party; nothing about who actually sent the Vatican police to investigate and break up the party; no photographs of anything; no inventory of the drugs found at the party.  To many, all these things indicate that the entire story was a fabrication.  And yet it spread around the world like wildfire, being picked up by other media outlets.

However, there was a party, and it was broken up by the Vatican police.  According to Robert Moynihan, author of The Moynihan Letters, highly respected in Roman Catholic circles as he is the editor of the influential magazine, Inside the Vatican: “I have now managed to confirm that some sort of a party did in fact take place, and that the Vatican police did come to investigate the party, entering a Vatican apartment where the party was being held, and breaking up the party.  So, there seems a legitimate basis for an attempt to trace out at least part of the genesis and development of this story, though there still seems no reliable basis for any detailed presentation of the facts.”[7]

We beg to differ with his last statement.  Consider the facts:

“No Further Bond With Christ”

Pope Leo XIII:

Leo XIII“Remember and understand well that where Peter is, there is the Church; that those who refuse to associate in communion with the Chair of Peter belong to Antichrist, not to Christ. He who would separate himself from the Roman Pontiff has no further bond with Christ.”

Jesuits on the Big and Little Screens in 2017

Sarre-Union ChJésuites 03

Shaun Willcock:

With a Jesuit sitting in the seven-hilled city as Pope Francis I, and the Jesuit Order holding the Vatican in a grip of iron, the Order is on top of the world, riding a wave of global power and authority and enjoying celebrity status.

The pontificate of Francis I is the reign of Jesuitism.

And in order to further enhance its image worldwide, the Order has seen to it that the motion picture and television media have been harnessed to promote the image of the Jesuits to the masses, at such a time as this.  Two movies and a TV series are the result – and millions will be captivated by the work of this sinister and deadly Order, entertained by a sanitised version of what the Jesuits are really all about.

One film is about Jesuit mission work; the other is about the Jesuit founder, Ignatius of Loyola; and the TV series is about the Jesuit pope, Francis I.

“Silence”: Bringing Worldwide Attention to the Jesuits

One of Hollywood’s leading movie directors, Martin Scorsese – a Roman Catholic, sort of – made the movie, Silence, in 2016, based on a 1966 novel written by Japanese Roman Catholic author, Shusaku Endo.[1]  Described by a Roman Catholic news source as “a thrilling depiction of the persecution suffered by Jesuit priests in 17th-century Japan”, the same news source confidently predicted that “the film is sure to bring worldwide attention to the Society of Jesus, 30 years after the other great film about the congregation: ‘The Mission.’”[2] Bringing worldwide attention to the Jesuits: now that is worth winking at Scorsese’s somewhat-less-than-devout Romanism, as far as the Jesuits are concerned.  They have always been lenient towards erring Papists, if those same Papists are able to serve their interests in any way.

A renowned United States Jesuit, James Martin, editor of the Jesuit magazine, America, worked on the production of Silence, coaching the actors to enable them to “understand the Jesuit charisma.”  He said, “I was asked to look at the script to see what a Jesuit would say and do in certain situations.  I also helped the actors prepare for their roles, especially Andrew Garfield, who plays the lead, I led him through the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius, which was a six month project, and he was very well prepared by the time he was finished.”[3]

Garfield himself said, “I studied with Father Martin all things Jesuit and attempted to crack what it means to be a soldier for Christ.  The basis of that was the exercises [Ignatius’ “Spiritual Exercises”] for me.”  Although his ancestry is Jewish, Garfield was raised in a non-religious household.  He did the 30-day Jesuit retreat, but not in the customary way.  The third week was spent at a retreat house in Wales.  He described it as “a silent week, and intense”, and added: “Yeah, it was remarkable, really.  I was so grateful for the sacred time.”[4]  Scorsese also gave Garfield many books and films to prepare him for the role.

What are Loyola’s Spiritual Exercises?  They are vital to the training of any Jesuit.  “The Spiritual Exercises work on the imagination of the candidate, helped by a ‘director’.  Various biblical scenes are ‘relived’ in front of him, beautiful ones alternating with frightening ones.  His sighs, inhalings, breathing, and periods of silence are all noted down.  After a number of weeks of this, he is ready for indoctrination.”[5]  It is not surprising that Garfield, even after a modified experience of the Exercises, emerged a different man.  This is what the Exercises are designed to do.  The lead actor in this film about the Jesuits had been molded into something of a Jesuit novice himself.

Garfield said that what he took away from the film, personally, was “endless”.  “What I’ve been given by playing this role and being with Marty [Scorsese], being with Father Martin, doing the [Ignatian] exercises, it’s impossible to sum up.  I’ve been given so many different graces for the whole experience.  By the end of it, of filming, I [didn’t] even need the film to come out or for people to like it.  The year of preparation, those months making the film, were worth it.”[6]

Clearly, authenticity regarding Jesuitism was important to Scorsese.  He went to a lot of trouble to see to it.  The Jesuits were very obviously expecting great things from the film.

Before the film’s premiere, Scorsese met with the most famous living Jesuit on earth, Francis I.  The director brought his wife and two daughters to the meeting, along with the film’s producer and his wife.

During the traditional exchange of gifts, Scorsese gave the pope a religious picture, saying as he did so: “This is a Japanese artist from the 17th century, and the original is in the 26 Martyr (Museum).  But this is the most revered image for the hidden Christians.  This is with the Jesuits.  We used this for research in our film.”[7]

Amazing how Scorsese had come back into favour in Roman Catholic circles.  This was the man who made the blasphemous movie, The Last Temptation of Christ, back in 1988.  When it was released it was immediately opposed by the Roman Catholic institution as morally objectionable, and people picketed outside theatres and boycotted the movie in their thousands.  Scorsese, commenting on the film, said: I’ve always wanted to do a spiritual movie but religion gets in the way.”  He said that The Last Temptation of Christ sought to “tear away all the old Hollywood films… and create a Jesus you could talk to and get to know.”[8]  Hardly the kind of statements guaranteed to earn the approval of the Roman Catholic hierarchy.  Scorsese was certainly unpopular.  But now, almost three decades later, here he was being fêted in the Vatican itself, meeting the pope, and preparing for his new film’s premiere to be shown in Rome.  The Jesuits now looked with indulgent fondness on Scorsese the black sheep, a man who had once wanted to become a priest.  Make a film about the Jesuits and be forgiven and rehabilitated back into the fold, apparently.

Portugal’s Fires 2017: What the Pope Blesses, the Lord Curses

High Park fire

Shaun Willcock:

“And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.  If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.” (Malachi 2:1,2)

In the Scripture above, the Lord sent a curse upon the Jewish priests, and cursed their blessings.  For they were false priests.  This can mean He cursed what they had been blessed with; but also, that He cursed the blessings they pronounced on others.

The priests of Rome are false priests as well.  The only difference is that the Jewish priesthood was ordained of God for a specific time and purpose, whereas the Romish priesthood never was.  And if the Lord cursed the blessings of the Jewish priests, He most certainly curses the blessings of the priests of Rome.  Most especially, He curses that which the pope of Rome, the great high priest of the greatest false religion which has ever existed, blesses.

In June 2017 the sovereign Lord, once again, cursed what the Roman Antichrist blessed, when the worst fires in Portugal’s history swept through its central region.

Does the reader see the hand of God in what occurred in Portugal?  It should make one’s hair stand on end, and humble one into the dust before God!

For Francis I arrived in Portugal in May 2017, being welcomed by the country’s president and adoringly followed by vast crowds of Roman Catholic faithful.  His purpose for being in the country?  To “canonise” two of the three shepherd children who, at Fatima in Portugal a hundred years ago in 1917, claimed to have received visits from the Virgin Mary and messages from her.  I recently wrote a detailed article examining the so-called Fatima apparitions, entitled The Lying “Lady” of Fatima: Seers and Secrets, Deception and Delusion, and the Politics of Global Power.[1]  The reader is urged to carefully read that article.  The entire Fatima deception is all to do with increasing the power of the Vatican over the earth.

And in June – just a month after the papal visit – central Portugal experienced a series of deadly wildfires, with the largest loss of life due to such fires in Portugal’s history!  Dozens perished in the flames, many dying as they tried to flee in their cars.  So great was the catastrophe that Spain, France and Italy sent water-dropping planes, and the EU and UN also pledged assistance.  The Portuguese prime minister said, “The fire has reached a level of human tragedy that we have never seen before.”  And a local mayor of one of the affected areas said, “It does not seem real, it is out of this world…. It is a real inferno, we have never seen anything like that.”

Note: Fatima is in central Portugal!  The fires were in Pedrogao Grande, a municipality in Leiria District.  The city of Leiria is the capital of Leiria District, and is also the seat of the Roman Catholic diocese of Leiria-Fatima.  It was in fact to the bishop of Leiria that one of the Fatima child “seers”, Lucia dos Santos, entrusted the so-called “third secret” of Fatima in a sealed envelope.  She had written it down on the orders of the bishop of Leiria.

Francis I visits Fatima, being welcomed by the Portuguese president; and a month later the Portuguese president is visiting the Leiria region to meet with the families of the victims of the devastating fires.  Coincidence?  Not in the least.  It was Divine judgment.  We feel deep compassion for and sympathy with the suffering people of Portugal at such a time of great tragedy.  Truly, the hearts of all should break when they consider the extent of the suffering and pain there.  But let us not be found speaking as the foolish, the ignorant, and atheistic speak, when they start blaming God or saying such stupid things as, “How could a loving God allow this?”  or, “How can there be a God?”  When men blaspheme the sovereign Lord of heaven and earth day and night; when they worship idols in direct violation of His holy Word; when they give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, and uphold the foolish lies of human beings as if they carried equal or greater weight than the Word of the living God; when they exalt a sinful man as the “Vicar of Christ” and believe him to be the representative of God on earth; when they cry out for this wicked man’s “blessing” and hang on his every word of blasphemy and idolatry; then at some point the judgment of God must fall, and often it has fallen very swiftly.  He says: “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images” (Isa. 42:8).
