Resist This Authority, Resist God

Bonifatius VIII GrabstatuePope Boniface VIII:

“If, therefore, the Greeks or others say that they are not committed to Peter and to his successors, they necessarily say that they are not of the sheep of Christ, since the Lord says that there is only one fold and one shepherd (Jn.10:16). Whoever, therefore, resists this authority, resists the command of God Himself.”

~Pope Boniface VIII, Unam Sanctam, DNZ:468, (quoted in Apostolic Digest, by Michael Malone, Book 4: “The Book of Christians”, Chapter 4: “There is No Allegiance to Christ Without Submission to the Pope”)

    1. Thanks Maria! Checking it out! I’m afraid I have been so busy lately I haven’t been able to give this blog the attention it deserves.

      1. Meg, you must be – I understand.
We probably don’t shock easily anymore but Michael Voris sounds so very Catholic that he seems like he is from another age. Hope you get to read a little there, his editorials are amazing. Timothy Kauffman and an ex-Catholic at WordPress appreciate that at least it’s obvious where Voris stands, for example, that we are damnable heretics.
