The Lifestyle Evangelism Dilemma

1206728_21045799“Today the topic of lifestyle evangelism came up. A couple peers were quite adamant in their defense of the practice. They were horrified that I was not a fan.

“We’ve got to earn the right to be heard!” – Yeah, I’ve heard that ever since I was a kid. Unfortunately, when it comes to “earning the right to be heard,” we don’t share the Gospel on the front end of relationships because we think we haven’t “earned” the right to do so, and once we do have an established relationship we are reticent to share the Gospel because we are loathe to risk damaging the relationship. Talk about being on the horns of a dilemma!”
